You Ever Do This On Ebay?
Have you ever sold cards on ebay before the BV came out only to find out you just gave away a ton of money? Or you madea ton of money? Here is a link to the Contenders Autos I sold about a month ago. I did ok I guess although one of the eight was a SP.

The book value's not that accurate anyway and you likely wouldn't have been able to sell it for that much, but if you did sell near book value, well done!

Yes, Beckett book value is SOOOOO unrepresentative of ACTUAL value. A card is only worth what people will pay for it, not what Beckett says.

Also, to the original poster, Beckett has checklists available even if the prices aren't out yet. That checklist would have shown which cards were SP.

for every card that sells low there are just as many that sell higher until bv comes out.. cards such as last years diamond kings baseball, leaf certified.. stuff that is numbered to like 10 when there are a hundred paralells numbered to 5 or whatever.. or the game dated that are selling real high until people realize there is a 1/1 for 40 different cards

Usually before the BV comes out is the best time to sell something. It's new and more people are looking for it. Plus, some people may be thinking it will be higher than it eventually comes out listing for. Plus demand is the best driving force I think.
