Hidden Treasure Boxes
Just wanting to see what experiences others have had with Hidden Treasure boxes from TriStar. I bought one the other day for $20. It contained 2 graded cards. I knew it was a gamble but figured that I would at least get my moneys worth. What did I get? A 1989 Score Ken O'Brien and a 1990 Pro Set Jerry Rice. Both graded at a 9. A whopping total value of, at most, $2. If you have had any TriStar moments, let me know.

Yeah I have bought a few boxes of this stuff. Most of the time I get junk but one time I actually got a redemption for an Earl Campbell auto'd 8x10 so that was pretty cool!!

TriStar is a ripoff. My mom bought one of those single graded card packs for $20 so she could get a free Roger Craig auto. (bring a TriStar pack to the signing booth and get a free auto from Craig.) She figured I would get a cool card and she would get a Craig auto for the hell of it.
And I got a ...
DRUM ROLL PLEASE...
OH THE SUSPENSE!
A Magnificant....
:new_2guns 1990 Score Bill Romanowski BCCG 10
what a ripoff. Oh... and we had to go before Craig was signing

Well, it is sad to see that I am not the only one to have had a bad experience with TriStar. By the way, their customer service is just as bad as the quality of their product. I sent an e-mail complaining about my dud cards and have not recieved any type of response. Actually, I would have been shocked if they had gotten back to me.
