What should I buy?
Alright guys, I'm going to be in the market to get a case or at least a half case of some of the new stuff that's going to hit later this year. I've narrowed it down to UD only. I'm thinking SP Game Used or SP Signature Edition right now. Which do you think I should buy? Which would you go for and why? Also if you have any suggestions of other product I should look at plmk. My son and I are brand new to bkb cards so we're still trying to learn.
FYI, unless it's a Ming, everything I get will either be sold or traded

You might have better luck getting something other than UD. UD can leave you with a sour taste and an empty feeling.

As a kid i lvoed UD, but i was also naive as a kid.
Ive never pulled anything decent from a UD pack or box. Brought 2 UD hobby boxes last month.. best i pulled was a $15 Dwight Howard.
I like some of the fleer products out there, and Bowman signature for obvious reasons.

The reason I chose UD is because that's who Ming signed with and since that's all my son cares about that's what I'm going after. I wasn't aware that he has autos in any other product. If he does which ones are they because I'll definitely take a look at those as well ;)
I'm planning on getting a case so the odds should be in my favor of getting something good, Ming or not. If I don't get any Mings I figure I can just trade or sell what I get to add some Mings to my son's collection.

If your searching for just one player, it might be best to just look on ebay for bargins
Is price a factor in the case you buy?

I thought about doing that but this isn't for me only, it's for my son. He enjoys breaking packs as much as I do so that's why I'm going this route. If you have children you'll understand this a little more ;)
Plus it's easy to just click and buy, I like the anticipation of possibly getting something great or maybe not. That's what cards are about and that's what I'm trying to show my son.
As for price, I'd like to keep it around $1500 at most. Any suggestion?

I full get the pack thing, i only just got back into collecting last month since i was a 9-10yo kid (now 20) and i always wanted to break a box, so i brought 2 Ud boxes and it was fun but i got nothing.
since your only looking at UD, Dacardworld has a 12 box case of UD SP Game Used for $1,620.00
seems better value for the Black Diamond case of 20 boxes for $1,440, get more cards per pack and per box but i guess better quality in SP GU.
SP Game Used is hardcore, really expensive.. but, good product. Ive been told since starting to collect again that 'you get what you pay for' and it seems pretty spot of, the best boxes are the most expensive...

I just bought the new Beckett a couple of days ago and saw the layout of the new SP Authentic. I'm thinking about getting a case of those now...hmmm?
