Flyers aquire Meszaros from Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded defenceman Andrej Meszaros to the Philadelphia Flyers for a second round pick.

If they were gonna spend 4 mil a year on a Dman, they should have given it to Hamuis.
If Coburn compares his numbers to Meszaros, he'll want 4 mil a year too.

Good trade for the Flyers for sure. They would have been better to get a UFA but maybe it is just a sign of things to come and the big name defence UFAs will sign for a lot of money.

I disagree too. But top 5 for sure. We will see when the season start who does.

great defense but it looks like they are going with 2 guys that haven't shown they can carry the load. plus, they probably still need to move a forward. they are over the cap as of now and will probably want some money available to make moves during the season.
i gotta think Gagne or Carter is moving at some point between now and the start of the season.
