SCF's Second Annual NCAA Bracket Card Cash Contest
March Madness is upon us once again. So Bracketology is in full effect. Anyhow, time for SCF's Bracket contest.
It's real simple, there will be 64 teams in the NCAA tourney (not counting the play-in game) which means there's only 64 spots. Basically, you buy a team and hope they at least make the Final Four.
There will be two brackets:
High End - 100cc per team
Low End - 50cc per team
No more than two teams may be selected by a member in each bracket.
The team you receive will be random. You may get a #1 seed or a #16 seed.
Payout structure:
Reach the Final Four - 1/8 of the pot (2 teams)
Reach the Championship Game - 1/4 of the pot (1 team)
Win the Championship Game - 1/2 of the pot (1 team)
If the brackets do not get filled, then those teams will simply not be owned by anyone. If any of those teams reach the Final Four, then the payout structure changes. There are many different scenarios that could take place in that event. If that becomes likely, the structure will be updated to reflect it.
The brackets will be closed on Wednesday 3/16 @ 9:00pm EST. If the brackets fill up before then, I will post that it is closed. I will place the brackets on this thread along with the member who has the team.
For instance:
Syracuse Region
#8 NC State (enigma_shadow)
#9 Providence (cardbuyer66)
The teams will be chosen at random...
To enter, just PM me with the amount of teams you would like in one or both brackets and transfer the card cash to me. Once I see that I have received the cc transfer, then I will reserve the spots for you.
SCF will not be taking any cc in running this contest. Winners will receive their portions from the entire pot (6400cc for the high and 3200cc for the low contests)...

There has not been a huge amount of responses to this. Deadline is extended to today at 12 noon EST. I will not be home to release the teams. What I am going to do is randomly give the highest seeds to the participants...therefore at this point, no one will get stuck with a 15 or 16 seed. For instance, if only twenty entries have been submitted...the top five seeds in each bracket will be selected...you'll see what I mean once I post...
