    Ricky Steamboat Hospitalized!

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ricky Steamboat (real name Richard Blood) is currently in an intensive care unit of a Florida Hospital. There are some conflicting reports as to what exactly has happened, but an angiogram has shown bleeding on the brain and he is under 24 hour surveillance. There were also reports of him having suffered a brain aneurysm. I will update the story as soon as I find anything out. Please keep "The Dragon" in your thoughts.

Ricky Steamboat's condition has been upgraded to stable, but he is likely to be hospitalized for some time after suffering a brain aneurysm last night in Tampa.

This has nothing to do with the angle, according to someone I know who works there. He was banged up a little from what happened Monday, but there is no correlation between what happened on TV and what's happening in reality.
