    Any suggestions?

I've recently started collecting football cards after being away from the collecting scene for some time. I'm more than a little overwhelmed with the number of cards there. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about collecting? Is it better to foucs on and buy boxes from one brand or to jump around and buy a variety brands? Is it worth buying singles off of eBay?

I'm in the same boat as you. I really like the Upper Deck Foundations, for the money you get 2 autos, atleast 1 Jersey card and a couple #ed rookies. There are some really cheap singles on Ebay, but I think it's a lot funner to open your own packs. You should be able to get a box of Foundations for about $70.

If you enjoy ripping packs its great to buy a box or two, but you will get more money for your buck if you stick to singles on ebay that is for sure.

Most people prefer to take up a certain player/team and run with it. I have seen a lot more going to the HOF jerseys and autos too as they dont lose value that much.

Thanks for the suggestion. After doing a little online reading, I ordered two boxes of UD Foundations. I hope to get them early next week.
