    Thrashers get Ladd

    CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks continued their battle against the salary cap Thursday as the Stanley Cup champions traded Andrew Ladd to the Atlanta Thrashers.The Hawks received Ivan Vishnevskiy and a second-round pick in next year's draft.

    Pretty good deal for both sides. Smart move by the Hawks to make cap space. But IMO, I think both teams got some good young talent from that deal.
