Haven't sent anything out in awhile so I was surprised to see an envelope waiting for me when I got home. I was happy to see it was two signed cards from Reds prospect Yonder Alonso. Now I don't feel so bad about missing his local signing a few weeks ago!!

I figured my returns might be done for the year, but then I get this surprise in the mail...
Hopefully this means a few more might appear in the next few weeks

A couple more returns last week.
Joe Mauer sent a preprint postcard with a note apologizing for losing a batch of fan mail (sent the request July '09) and saying he likes to only sign when he can meet his fans in person. I got my card back and I think he may have signed the note "Joe", but can't tell if it's a real signature. Nice to at least get a response!
Got a preprint card from Mike Leake saying he gets a ton of requests, but then I also got back my 8x10 signed! Only problem is when he put it back in the plastic sleeve I send in the sig smeared. I'm going to try to send again and see if I can get a clean sig.
I'm crossing my fingers I get a few more now that the season is over. (No pressure Joey Votto)

I found an old Cavs ticket stub the other day featuring Mark Price. Since he was one of my favorite players growing up I thought I'd give it a shot and here's what was waiting for me when I got home today...
This is one of my favorites so far!

Just got a reply for one I sent last season and it was worth the wait!
Also, got a note from Tulowitzki saying he signs for a $25 donation to the Rockies charity. Good cause, but a little too much for me.
Funny how these cards I thought were lost are suddenly making an appearance.
