Gagne on the move?

There are rumors that Simon Gange has agreed to waive his NTC and that the Flyers to use the cap space to resign Powe, Carcilo and make a higher offer to Turco. While I'm not surprised they asked him, I'm a bit shocked he agreed.

I would be thoroughly ticked if they move forward with this.

What does everyone else think?

I doubt they would ask him to waive it unless they have plans to move him.....its just a matter of when and for who......
Los Angeles has a lot of ties with Philly....who knows....

Gagne has been my favorite player ever since I've been a Flyers fan, so this move upsets me as well. However, I do think it is best for the team. They need to get rid of some salary to make more cap space, and Gagne is the best option. Briere's contract is probably too large to move, and Carter is younger and we need to build our team around a group of young, talented players for the long run.

I've also heard that out of everywhere, Turco really wants to play in Philly. He says he hopes he is able to sign there.

P.S. LA is the team that is supposedly interested in Gags.

If Turco wanted to sign here, he shouldve taken the 3 year deal we offered him (I really don't want Turco!!!!)

I also heard LA was interested in Carter but that was before this recent no trade waive

the flyers have to move Gagne. they have multiple young wingers ready to step up and play top 6 minutes (giroux, JVR, leino) and Gagne is a bit overpaid and fragile.

that being said - if i'm the kings i try to make a deal if it means i just have to give up a guy like teubert and maybe a pick.

i love gagne..he played good in the playoffs..they needed another goal scoring foward and it helped when he was healthy.... resign powe he works hard...tell carcillo to take a hike too many dumb pentalies.... still mad we signed shelly what a waste
