allstar- I just took a look at the Beckett Basketball I have. It is a month or so old, but after looking at it thoroughly just now. I am not convinced the Jamison books at $150, for 2 reasons:

    1) The raw Jamison books $50. The raw Pierce and Stojakovic book $60 each, and they are at $150 in Gem Mint. I would imagine the Jamison would be slightly lower.

    2) A 9.5 for other grading companies than those listed is considered Mint +, which is not Gem Mint. Therefore the BV for Mint+ should be somewhere between the BV for Gem Mint and Mint.
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

comparing one card to someone elses is not the best thing to do, especially with grade cards. Some raw kobe cards book ONLY $15-20 and the graded ones are in the $500 range. According to what you say, they should book about $60-80, BUT they don't. So this comparison is not the greatest. And it wouldn't make much of a difference if we go according to what you say, because then the BV should be between $120-150. Anyways all i know is that the Jamison card is Gem mint, it's perfect with no flaws or anything, So it's it's you call on whether you want to trade. Thanks.

Allstar- Thanks, but I'll Pass. I understand what you are saying about comparing players, and there is definitely some validity to that. But according to Beckett, a 9.5 from a grading company other than BGS is not considered gem Mint. Thanks anyway.

allstar- If you go to the "How to Use" section of the graded parts of the monthly guide, there is a chart that shows what condition the various grades equate to for each company. The last column is for "Other". The chart reads as follows:

    10- Gem Mint
    9.5- Mint+
    9.0- Mint

This puts the value of a 9.5 between Gem Mint and Mint

allstar- I would be interested in trading for the Jamison at whatever the current BV is. Based on the card being Mint+, I would guess that would be somewhere between $60 and $80 in BV.

matt_curren- The Clement has gone up in Beckett this month as is booking for $25.
