9 pocket card page question

i remember years ago someone telling me that it is not good for cards to put them back to back into card pages(18 cards in a page, front and back instead of 9 cards on one side) because this can damage cards. anyone ever hear of this?

I heard that too. I think pages are built to be put in one-sided, so if you put in cards back to back, the slots will get stretched out, and the cards will get stuck and/or squeezed.

its best just to put 9 in a sleeve bc after awhile the cards start to stick together not gud for the cards they get damaged so best bet is just put 9 per sleeve

thanks guys for your response.i think i will keep with just 9 cards per page, probably better to just spend a little more on pages now than have all my cards stuck together later!, thanks for your advice, i appreciate it.

I have put cards in those pockets for about 15 years now and have never had a single issue with that... Thicker cards and autos i put in a pocket by themselves but all singles of all my PC stuff goes back to back

i was wondering if you put them back to back with each card in a penny sleeve, i wonder if the penny sleeve will keep them from sticking together?

You should buy Ultra Pro, they are really good because the cards fit really well in them. If I was you, I would put nicer cards, 1 in each sleeve and maybe regular base cards that dont have much value doubled up if you are trying to save money.

Penny Sleeves will stretch the pocket out... once you put one in the sleeve you cannot take it out and put a non sleeved card in it... But like i said... the ONLY ones you may have to worry about it like a chrome card... the basic stock for cards does not stick together

I have also had issues with brands that are NOT Ultra Pro, so stick with them and you should be safe. I also agree that better cards should only be one per pocket and base cards two per pocket.
