    Kobe Bryant Rip Card Question

I recently got a Kobe Bryant upper level Rip card /99 out of a box of 08/09 Topps Jumbo and beings this is my first RIP card I am a little unfamiliar with them. Beckett says it is worth $25 unripped. What is it worth to collectors? Also what are the chances of getting something better than the Kobe inside and how do you actually rip these things? Just cut teh top off with scissors?

The back of the card has a small tab that you pull and it opens the card up. I do not recommend ripping it, there is nothing worthwhile in regular Topps Rip Cards. Value after it is ripped might be $2-$4.

You can trade for $25 value without ripped. After ripped, you can only find a hardcore Kobe collector to take it.. lol

Don't rip it! Nice card. I'm with PHlash, if you're interested in trading it... CMB
