I agree with that Lidstrom nickname. I have never heard of that one. I think that we collectively could have came up with a much better top 10 list.

"Suitcase" was for Gary Smith, who at the time had played for about 8 of 12 teams. I never heard it used for Gerry Cheevers.

My personal favorite always has and always will be The Dominator, awesome name that perfectly describes Hasek's career as one of the best goaltenders of all time.
Another personal favorite that any Buffalo fan knows well is....Carubba (pronounce Cuh-roo-buh) Kaleta! The Sabres always give a Caurruba Collsion (local auto repair shop) hit of the game and Kaleta has delivered some of the biggest hits I've seen in awhile which is where us fans got the idea of calling him Carubba Kaleta :)
