Help me out, does that mean an insert set featuring six retro cards?

    OR

One parallel of each base card using one of six retro styles?

    OR

Six different retro version parallels of each base card?

I sure hope it is not the last one!

I think its 1 parallel card for each base card done in the retro style, and that there will be 6 of them in the box.

Following up on the Buy-Back idea.....
The only active player left (I think) that have a card in 1990-91 Upper Deck are:

Chris Chelios (don't think he's retired yet?)
    Mark Recchi
    Mike Modano
    Mathieu Schneider
    Kris Draper
    Owen Nolan
    Daryl Sydor
    Brad May
    Jaromir Jagr
    Sergei Fedorov
    Mike Keane

Rod Brind'Amour, Rob Blake, and Scott Niedermayer just retired - I would expect a couple more names from that list to do the same. Keane is playing in the minors, Jagr & Fedorov in the KHL.

Who would want to collect that insert set of they are the only ones in it.....especially - People want inserts to be active players or exciting players....Nothing against them personally but I dont think too many people would want to collect them
I love the 90-91 set so to make a Retro set of that year with currect players would be cool - would probably be the 2nd set I would actually collect

I love the bases, but not the rest :P.

I actually like the base cards too (with the tiny photo on the bottom) but also love the retro...Jersey cards are too small (reminds me of the Private Stock jerseys - yeah - who collects them?)...the rest - meh

ill reserve my opinion for the finished product but six variations.....2010-11 is going to kill player collectors

    TRUE DAT!!!!!!!

Is it possible that by including a retro parallel set in series 1 that o-pee-chee (with its own retro parallel set) will not be released in 2010-11?
