Wow, in my opinion they look absolutely awful.

love the 20th aniversary idea.
1990-91 UD Buy-Back Autos (how 'bout from any player in the set, who's still active today?) would be a nice insert.

One line item of note: only 1 jersey per box. And those are some tiny little swatches too.

I like the variation idea too, and yeah the buy-back autos would be cool.

I've got my fingers crossed that this means less Jeresey cards in the whole run (I would assume it), no more Signature Sensations, a boxes that cost $4 less.

Thats what i thought too but UD posted that on facebook:
Box Break:
6 Young Guns Rookie Cards
6 20th Anniversary variations
2 UD Game Jersey cards
2 All-World Team cards
And wow....UGLY, U-G-L-Y YOUNG GUNS!!!
This product looks like crap.

Following up on the Buy-Back idea.....
The only active player left (I think) that have a card in 1990-91 Upper Deck are:
Chris Chelios (don't think he's retired yet?)
Mark Recchi
Mike Modano
Mathieu Schneider
Kris Draper
Owen Nolan
Daryl Sydor
Brad May
Jaromir Jagr
Sergei Fedorov
Mike Keane
Rod Brind'Amour, Rob Blake, and Scott Niedermayer just retired - I would expect a couple more names from that list to do the same. Keane is playing in the minors, Jagr & Fedorov in the KHL.

People tend to say that the YG design each year looks worse, but then they get the cards in their hands and reverse course. There's no foil showing on that current design, which we all know will be there to give it some spice. I'm looking forward to it, especially the 20th anniversary retros. Does this mean OPC won't have retros this coming year?

Can't wait for series 1 to come out. However, when I saw the jerseys, I was immediately dissapoointed in how small the swatches look. Maybe they will end up being roughly the same size and maybe the large open space around the swatch makes it look small, but I guess we will find out in a few months.
I also think the YGs are quite plain looking and the rookies' names should be in a darker colour, but I find that initial pics and seeing cards in person are like reading different stories. THerefore, hopefully these look better in person.
BTW, I love the retro idea! Big props for bringing back that design!
