My view on LeBron's decision
If LeBron leaves Cleveland, then the city of Cleveland is going to hate him. If LeBron doesn't go to New York, then the city of New York is going to hate him. No matter what decision he makes, he's not going to be able to please EVERYONE and he's going to be hated after this.
He has to do what is best for HIM and people should respect that decision.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time

Well my view is that he had to go to wherever he thought was best. I'm a big Cavs fan, and he was a big part of it. He (as well as me) is probably sick of the Cavs having one of the best records in the NBA and always getting eliminated in the playoffs. I want to see him win, but I also want him in Cleveland.

Going to the Heat guarantees absolutely nothing. So what if you have 3 great players, they can't play all the minutes of every game. What kind of bench will you have? Who's your center, Bosh repeatedly said he won't play center.

On top of it, those 3 players get a lot of points on free throw. Meaning they get favor call from officals anyway. I am not sure they will get 15+ free throw each every night.
And besides, other people outside of these 3 will not get more than 6 pts per game anyway.

Icon = New York City
Loyalty = Cleveland
Winning = Chicago
Admitting you are too afraid to lead and would rather just "play with your friends" = Miami

you can draw some parallels to the 2008 celtics to the manner in which they surrounded 3 superstars with a team full of role players (obviously rondo wasnt nearly the stud back then as he was during this past season). however, that team was able to come together and play AS A TEAM better than lots of teams before/after them. lots of columnists are using how well the 3 played together on the 2008 olympic team as evidence they'll be just fine, but there's a lot more at stake during an 82 game regular season/roughly 20 playoff games en route to an NBA title than going overseas on a mini vacation where you just happen to play hoops on a team with the other 10 best basketball players in the world.
