Help with Windows Live Movie Maker

    Hey Gang,

Hopefully someone can help me out here - I'm attempting to edit a movie using Windows Live Movie Maker. I am curious if it is possible to switch between an MP3 audio clip and the audio embedded in the .AVI that I am using.

What I wish to do is split the MP3 at a specific point and use the audio from the .avi -- after which I want to be able to resume the audio from the MP3 at the position I had ended -- I do NOT wish to have it playing quietly in the background or 'muted' while the video takes over.

I am able to split the music (MP3) and re-position where I want to re-start. However.. when I change the 'audio mix' for the segment it changes the audio input (either the MP3 or the video's sound) for the entire video, not just that segment.

    Any help?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Cheers,
    Halo
