the thing I hate most is when people put up a buying thread and then dont respond to your posts with cards that they need. and also when people say wtb/™™™ a certain player or cards and when you try to sell them something they try to trade you absolute ™™™™

my favorite of all time is when people say they will check my bucket and then, out of THOUSANDS of cards in my bucket, they choose the one MOST expensive card in my bucket and then say "I GUESS i can trade you for that" or "I MIGHT be interested in that card" or I didnt see anything in your bucket but MAYBE ill trade for this card or I didnt see anything in your bucket but i GUESS ill take this card for it. after 35+ years in the hobby and having my own store..do people really think i dont know whats hot in the hobby or not (knowing these chose the hottest card in the hobby in my bucket) just frustrating when people think that alot of us are brand new in the hobby and dont have a clue. just frustrating when people say" ill trade you my matt garza auto for , i guess the 55 topps sandy koufax rookie in your bucket' and they are serious, thsats what is funny!

i can tell you right now that I will NEVER deal with another moderator again unless ive dealt with them before. i had a deal with one and he kept telling me he was waiting for money to come in before paying me then stopped responding at all while continuing to buy. so i reported him to a head mod and the guys reponse(the guy i was dealing with) was a massive string of lies. he said he never told me he was doing the deal for sure(a lie) and that i PMd him multiple times daily which is why he stopped reponding(another lie I pmed him once every few days) and obviously was believed over me so nothing was done. So i will never deal with another moderator if i havnt dealt with them in the past because all that does is show me that they can do whatever they want, lie about it and its ok.

The only thing that annoys me is people who simply don´t answer pm´s, even if just to say they´re not interested. And they were the ones to contact me in the first place.

I kinda hate when people won't trade with you because you are new! Im new here but not new to buying/selling/trading over the net! Im just kinda back with knowing what the other person wants and working out the details and what not. I like when people can just tell me what they like and a price or what they will offer me. And those topics that say im buying post what you have to offer. And you post and they always say pass pass pass on anything you put up. So I always just say check my site, if they do they do, if not I don't try to chase them back down unless its a Edgerrin I need. But thats almost never anymore. But anyway.

I have numerous pet peeves in this area, but this one is near the top of the list for sure. What is the rationale behind starting a buying thread in the SELLING/BUYING area and placing WTB in the title when "you aren't buying right now" once someone pm's you an offer??? I would say it was just posted by mistake in the selling forum instead of trading, but this excuse is ruined by the fact they included "WTB" in their title.......

I'm really happy to know these guys aren't treating me any differently just b/c I'm a girl when they send me pm's based on an obvious assumption that I'm a total idiot. They are hilarious and totally infuriating all at once. It is so hard not to reply by totally ripping them a new one, but I always try to tell myself those guys are just 13 yr olds who don't know any better and not 30 yr old tools....this method has been moderately successful.

In my opinion, it all boils down to common courtesy. Some people understand this concept, some have never even heard of it. Even if someone is totally on a different planet with prices and I think they are absurd, I'm totally ok with them as long as they use common courtesy. It seems so hard for some people to just say "thanks, but no thanks" and move on to the next deal. Its really not that hard at all.....
