I originally thought the NL because I figured Girardi would be cursed with ruining the streak and the NL pitching is nasty, but now I feel the AL will pull it off because some of the Yankees will do something great :)

Is it just me or is the All Star game rather boring this year? Like the rest of the season, its a pitchers duel (so far), with limited hits and no runs. Less than exciting, I think!

Girardi is giving more reason to hate the Yankees, because he has no idea how to manage properly, why is Thornton facing a right handed pitcher when he is a left handed specialist?

Wow....as an Indians fan, I don't have a horse that matters in this game (WS Home field), but that's the first ASG I can remember where a manager flat out lost the game for his team. What was Girardi thinking with A.) Pitching Thornton against a string of righties and B.) Pinch hitting Adrian Beltre over Alex Rodriguez in the 9th?

Makes no sense to me. His management of the game is as pathetic as him being a grown man with braces.

Also not pinch running for Ortiz. Don't get me wrong I am glad the NL won but that was not a smart move. I'm like you with the Astros out of the race it didnt matter either way though
