Iowa Cubs IP?
Anyone know where and when and if players sign before/after I-Cubs games? I've been to plenty before, but I've never looked into getting some autographs. Really wanna try and get Sandberg since he snubbed (we were the last two in line!) me and my cousin at a Peoria/Cedar Rapids game a few years ago.. Any tips are appreciated.

Get there early and there is a line that waits right by the dugout for Sandberg-When I went I just went for him but I didn't see too many players signing.

Nice. I recall him signing before the Cedar Rapids Kernels game (when he was managing Peoria..) by the dugout but the line was nuts and we tried by the bus after the game.
We'll be there when the gates open.. We're going Monday, and I guess they're having two players singing at the Gate for half an hour or so.. Hopefully one of them is Thomas Diamond.
Thanks for the info.

Sandberg is extremely easy to get at a game, My son and I got him on 3 items when we went and were first in line, get there when the gate opens and you will stand there for about an hour and a half and he will sign 15 min prior to every game

He was so nice when he managed in the MWL a few years ago! He signed a baseball for both me and the wife. He also signed for my daughters, but the best part was his attitude. He smiled and talked with all the fans as he made his way down the fence. He actually stretched the jersey the guy next to me had, so the autograph would look better for him. He is class 100%!!!

I too got Sandberg before the game. He signs for about 15 minutes. I got a ball and my jersey signed. It was awesome. With the commotion of the line for Sandberg, people were calling over for other players and they were getting them relatively easily. Good luck and I hope all goes well.

Success!
Yesterday the weather looked terrible and there was supposed to be severe thunderstorms all afternoon/evening so we almost didn't make the trip (hour and 45 minutes from here..) so I didn't get the 8x10's and customs printed that morning because I just assumed we weren't going, but my cousin said we'll just go anyway, so we didn't have enough time to get the 8x10's, so I had to print the customs off on my ink depleted crappy printer (they turned out too small and crappy looking) and we left. So my cousin, my brother, and I all got Sandberg on a custom and our ticket stub. We were 1st in line at the gate, and third in line by the dugout, and we waited about an hour and he came out. Super nice guy, shook his hand, and he didn't have a Sharpie and the two people ahead of us took theirs back, and he just asked if he could keep it.. Which I thought was kinda cool. Sorry about the long read, but living in Iowa, I don't get a lot of big name IP opportunities, so I'm still pretty excited. I'll probably make a cut out of the custom or something.. Looks terrible. I got the unique ticket stub.. He hesitated when he signed his number on ours like he was trying to remember his number or something, it's like he started a one or seven, but then changed it to a 3.
