lol. I need to remember that the tone of my voice doesn't always translate well when I'm typing :) That being said.... when I list the names of a bunch of HOFers, or guys I've argued should be in the HOF, I'd like to think that calling them 'over rated' (or 'poor' in the case of Sittler) is a fairly obvious sign that I'm not being serious.

Wow I can't believe nobody got the sarcasm in your post Sean! I did immediately. It was a mocking of the original poster calling Spezza overpaid and overrated. 7 million for Spezza isn't really out of line at all. At his best he can put up 90+ points.
I think Volchenkov is going to be missed in Ottawa though. Gonchar will be loved some nights and hated other nights. He is going to find out what playing in Canada is like.

Yea I have to agree that the sarcasm was pretty obvious lol. I dont think 7 Million for Spezza is out of line. Next year he may have a great year and that 7 mil will look like a solid price. I also dont think Vanek's contract is among the worst in the league. If hes healthy he'll score 40-50 goals yearly. Hes overpaid but not in the same way that Campbell, Huet, Redden, ect are
