Nolan Ryan Advice Help
My name is Ryan and my father Roger Button passed away and left me with his Nolan Ryan collection. To say that the collection is one of the largest in the world is a mass understatement. At the moment it is in three storage sheds and I do not know where to begin. I want to part with most of it but most of the collection is memorabilia that I have no idea how to price. Newspapers, pins, team autographed baseballs, and a couple of "Rawlings" posters/lithographs and balls that he said were promos and one of a kind. I even found a signed certificate where Nolan had signed for the purchase of a Bull that my dad had bought. Most of the material is in sealed boxes that have never been opened or is still in its original packaging. I will admit I have opened a video game for Super Nintendo that he would never let me open when I was a kid. Probably destroyed the value, but I have wanted to rip that thing open for about 20 years. I would appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction. (or point me to the right forum). Thanks in advance.

you could always try companies that do consignments, like psa or something. by the time you pay e-bay and paypal fees. it doesn't leave much.

I agree ebay is most likely the best marketing tool..... maybe use that to post a massive collection f/s and do a dutch auction for like a penny or something where anyone who wants to contact you in regards to it can get your number for a penny? Just an idea im throwing out there......
