The 2010 SI Most Overrated Player is.....

    Joba Chamberlain

It was a players poll and Joba had a reported 2 1/2 more votes than any other player, no link, it was on ESPN though...Don't disagree with this at all, he's been built up so high, but man the last 2 years he's been horrid

I agree, and that's coming from a Yankee fan. He burst onto the scene in '07, had a decent '08, but last year and this year he's been absolutely terrible. Wish they didn't mess with him as much as they did and just kept him in the 'pen.

I really can't place the blame on the organization, at the end of the day its up to Joba to make the pitches, and he couldn't...While the organization did stupid rules and such with him, i'm not a believer to think he went from a guy with an ERA of alittle over 2.60 to a guy with an ERA of 5 because of the organization

I'm with you. I think it messed with his head to be put in the rotation and then stuck back in the pen. Should've just left him in the pen.

I think the bug spray poisoned him instead of the bugs.
