Demitra signs with KHL
Pavol Demitra may have played his last game in the NHL.
ESPN.com is reporting 35-year-old Demitra has signed a one-year deal with Yaroslavl of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League.

Another player gone to the KHL. Like Olli Jokinen, it always seemed like Demitra was inconsistant putting up points.

I completely forgot about Demitra. Well, its good that he is gone to the KHL IMO, because he wasn't contibuting that much last season (except in the Olympics) for the Canucks. Plus, the Canucks need to clear some cap space for their new additions (such as Hamhuis, Malhotra, etc.) Im just anxious to find out if Bieksa is going to get traded or not...

I thought he did pretty good......when he was actually in the line-up....

Glad to see him gone. He never really fit in on any line with the Canucks. Granted he never played long enough to develop any chemistry but that was another thing. Hope he is healthier now and can at least play in the no kontact hockey league.
