Athletes c/o Agencies?

Is it strange to write to an athlete c/o their agency? Also, is there even a remote chance of having a success? I would never usually do this, but I was considering writing to one of my favorite players c/o his agency

Most of my actor successes have been from there agent, I would say it is worth a shot.

I've gotten Robert Gallery through emailing his agent...but I've sent out a ton of others and received nothing back...it was worth it getting that one back though...it's a nice 8X10. There's a post I put up (helpful site for contacting players through their agents)

i got tiger woods like 13 years ago through his agency.i wish that was still the case-lol-now if you write it-you get a upperdeck printed 8x10-i have also had success through actors agency's...

i sent a card for steve nash to his agency. im still waiting though
