There's nothing wrong with re-sending cards in them. So long as they are still usable why not?

I have no problem sending cards, or recieving them in used envelopes.

But, if I were to buy or sell a card, I would expect a new envelope to be used.

re-using them is cheap. if you can't afford to cover shipping, spending money in the hobby isn't the wisest choice to begin with.

    into the garbage.

Bubble mailers = 3 for $1 at Dollarama.

So you guys must never re use Top loaders or penny sleeves either hey? Must be nice to be millionaires.

Like Gilp says....why throw money away.

    lol, I sleep good at night knowing I am cheap. (o;
Seriously though, I really do think its silly not to re use them. This is just a very small indicator of what a wasteful society we are. I by no means am perfect, but I try to not be unnecessarily wasteful.

I have been guilty of throwing mine out. I usually scribble out the 2 addresses so if some garbage man picks it up, he won't know what address it belonged to.

I have about 30 different used bubble mailers that i have been to lazy in throwing out. One if these days I will though hehe

    Andrew

I always cut out or scribble the addresses and like you, I also have a stack of envelopes to deal with. I tend to open the envelope, take the cards out and then the envelopes build in a pile beside me for a while until I get rid of them.

i throw it in the recycling bin . the recycling centers have sorters. if it wasn't meant to be recycled, it'd get picked out
    and thrown away regardless.

That's what I have been doing for the most part. The main thing that I don't like is that the paper and plastic cannot be pealed a part somehow and therefore, I'm thinking that it all gets garbage, but who know. Some may think I'm nuts, but I always tear packaging a part so that each part goes into the proper area for recycling.

Exactly how I buy mine. Then I cut each one in half and I have 6 evelopes for $1.

Yeah the ones from the P.O. are expensive. Just so you know, I buy a "size 0" envelope and they are about 9"x7" which is enough to cut in half and do two mailings.

You can also buy them on Ebay for great prices - I paid $40 for 200 4x8 envelopes, or twenty cents each.

Yeah I pick up 6x9 bubble mailers for about $.18 each at Sam's Club. I do reuse toploaders though for trades and sales. I'll use new ones if it's an expensive card or something nice.

    re-using them is cheap.

You're gonna have to explain this one. You recycle them but yet you insult others for following the other Rs.....reduce and reuse. Plus, reusing them keeps shipping costs down, which, last time I checked, people like. Reusing old bubble mailer that are still in decent condition isn't cheap, it's resourceful.
