Pack Searching.....

Now that i think about it pack searchers take the hits out of boxes at retail stores and it does kind of bug me and when they do this sell packs as hot packs on ebay or going 2010 BOWMAN PACK,STRASBURG HOT PACK or somthing stupid like that.

Why do people care so much when people search packs i personally dont but still they buy the pack fairly and the hit (if there is one) goes to someone it probably will anyways at some point. One time I was at target and this guy was looking at some packs no big deal and then we talk and he says hey ill find you a good pack I know he means hes going to pack search but I dont care im paying for the pack so i get in the car open the pack and theres nothing so im like wow thats great same old same old nothing in a pack all there was is some thick insert. the thing im agains though is selling packs as hot packs on ebay or going 2010 BOWMAN PACK,STRASBURG HOT PACK or somthing stupid like that.

It bothers me that I have a 9 year old son who Obviously can't buy hobby often, so HE'S the one who gets screwed by the packs searchers at places like wal-mart, and target(those are the only 2 retail stores here).

it bothers me too when that kind of thing happens cause i buy packs from target often and i usualy look through the packs in the back hoping they didnt get to them yet but i mean at a card shop with an spx or somthing thats ok or i think it is

somtimes if its a high end hobby product or somthing cause at my lcs NO ONE ever goes in there exept me and my friend so i just look for thick packs really if im spending 7+ on a pack and no one else buys any so i think its ok in that situation so my thread up there isnt really what i think now that i think about it

I have a problem with people who damage the cards. But I search packs and dont dsamage them. I dont do it meticulously and basically I look for a thicker pack give it a little squeeze to feel the play in it. I have bought many packs I have done this too and never damaged one. Its pretty much hit or miss cause in a 40 pack box theres maybe ONE hit and its not worht the time to go through everything. And for the guy whos kid collects and buys from walmart and target. If youre teaching your son that the only good cards are hits then you obviously have no idea what the hobby is truly about, especially for children. I would rather pull a Tennessee Titans base card than a GU from Clinton portis or even Tom Brady cause thosae arte cards I personally collect. I think that people whine about pack searching so much basically because of greed and envy. Envy they didnt get the card and greed cause they dont want other people to get hits cause they want them for themselves.

Totally disagree, your stealing hits from others willing to pay the same price..packs are like gambling its not guarnteed, more so i'm suprised your LCS allows you to pack search

i dont really but im now 100% anit searching as you can see in my sig cause i thought about it
