What do you suppose Shipping would be?
I go to Houston all the time and if it would save enough money I MIGHT be able to talk to the wife into letting me get one. They look good btw.

I think the idea is nice, but you might want to find a more efficient way to produce your product. I mean if someone is gonna pay $70 why shouldn't they just buy one of those nice display cases you see at shows? Another thing is that people like to display their cards, not lock them up in a case. The idea is really interesting, but if you could get the final price down to about $20-$30, i think this kind of thing might sell.

JonoBono ....there is now way i could sell them for 20 or 30 as it comes close to the in S/H and packageing cahrges. Plus i would be making nothing for my time and material. But that for input.

Well they look great man but I just don't think I can convince the wife. She thinks I already spend WAY too much on this stuff anyway. Sad part is that she is probably right...
Good luck though I really hope you sell a few and do well with them!

Note: I was not say that you should just sell them for 20-30, I said you should try to make them more cost efficient for you. Have the manufactoring price be $10 (if thats possible) then charge 20-30 and there you go, profit!
I'm just saying this because i took a business course over the summer. A cardinal rule for starting a business is making the product cost efficient for you, and the customer!

I was wondering how long you've been making them for? the reason I ask is that Ive created and sold more than a few inventions of my own and made good money at it on a couple of my endevours, and I've found that after making the same thing over and over again you begin to find ways to cut down both your cost and your time spent doing it. I like to develop a system and then constantly keep an eye out for tools and materials that you could buy that will make things easier on you.
I think your doing a great job and your finished work looks really good and I think If you could find a way to bring the cost to yourself down and in turn your price you sell them for down, you might be suprised how many of those you sell.
it takes a lot of guts to put your work out there for people to judge, Iv'e always found that to be one of the hardest parts about the whole thing. But you've got a good idea, and wish you all the luck in the world getting it off the ground.

JonoBono ........NO don't get me wrong it's just like ogjimkenobi was saying i need to find out how to keep cost down on both ends. But i do except all info and feedback on this matter.
ogjimkenobi .....yes, i do thank you for the info and opinion on this matter. As i have contacted a few others about material and S/H and might be able to get them down to 50 to 60 in the next few weeks .......Thx fellow trades for you input.
