Charlie Manuel Success?
Whenever you write to one of the current Phillies (Utley, Howard, Rollins, Victorino, Werth) you alwasy get back the same type of pre-print with stats on the back. All are done in black and clearly pre-printed. However, I got one back from Charlie Manuel that is signed in blue and seems like it could be real. Anyone else ever get one?

Manuel as of last year was actually signing his cards. It is probably authentic.

Do one of you guys know if Gordon Beckham of the White Sox is authentic or not? I got a TTM from him yesterday in the mail and it was marked from Chicago but the Sox have been on the road since the All-Star break?

Gordon Beckham's a good signer. Maybe he signed a whole bunch of mail and asked one of the clubhouse guys to mail out a huge load of letters. I've noticed that everytime there is a success from him there are multiple successes within a couple of days.

Cole Hammels used to sign his over sized cards. I sent two requests to him a few years back and they came back and had differences in the signatures and were both in blue sharpie. I really wanted the cards I sent, but my gues is that it was easier for him to rip off a stack of those photos like Chipper Jones does.

I got Charlie early during ST this year......he signed the 4x6 I sent him. He was my first ST success of the year.
