My Introduction

Hi, My name is Bill and I live in Jacksonville Florida. I have been collecting cards for quite some time. I was born and raised in Canton Ohio just a few miles from the Hall of Fame. Used to go there as a kid and get in free and check it out. I used to get cards from my mother for doing chores around the house. That was when I was 10 or 11 in the early 80's. I kept a small collection from then in a wooden box and drug it all over the country till in the mid 90's I discovered what I had. A actually had a Joe Montana rookie card that I pulled from a pack of cards I bought for a quarter from our corner store! From then on I was hooked on collecting. I started finding hobby shops in my area and making friends and busting packs. Then I moved to Florida and settled in 2000. Just returning now from a 3 yr tour overseas and retiring from the Navy and ready to get back into it more seriously. My collection has changed many times. Starting with Tim Couch and moving to Charlie Frye then giving up on newer Cleveland Brown rookies I started to lean toward the older Hall of Fame class of the Cleveland Browns, more of a sure thing in the hobby. So I collect older Cleveland Browns and Ohio State players in OSU uniforms. I also have many retired Cleveland Indians. I enjoy knowing the history of football and Browns. The best card in my collection is probably the Joe Montana I pulled as a kid in the 1981. Also love the Otto Graham cut autograph I have. Hope this isnt to long. Thanks

Welcome Bill, I'm new here too! I've been collecting for a few years now, my most prized card is my John Elway Hall of Fame auto! I just recently purchased it. I'm mainly looking for auto and jersey cards now as I have so many base cards, lol. Feel free to check out my inventory, I know i dont have much in there but I do have a few things.
