I have all my Habs base in binders alphabetically by set name and year. All my other Habs are separated alphabetically into 1600 & 3200 boxes for parallels, auto, game-used, inserts and over-sized cards. Everything is recorded on the Beckett database for keeping things straight.

I have a binder for each of my following PC:
- Nordiques (2 binders actually)
- Habs (2 binders)
- RC's
- Acadie-Bathurst Titan & Moncton Wildcats alumnis
- Hall of Famers (2 binders)
- ITG Inserts, AU and star bases
I also have three boxes (3200 cards) in wich I stored my sets and four boxes (3200 cards) in wich I stored my traders (80 % of them are bases).
Finally, all my 15 $BV PC cards are store in top loaders in three boxes (1600 counts).I collect the following:

- Montreal Canadiens actual players (inserts, parallels, #, RC, Auto, GU)

Base sorted by year, then alphabetized by manufacturer, then numerical by card number (if two cards are made by the same manufacturer). Contemplating whether to put my PC base in a 9-pocket sleeve ring binder.
Not sure how to sort my GU and Auto's. Probably the same way?

Sorted by year, set name, card number. I also use SCF new inventory to store all the card I had. I imported then in SCF new inventory last month from my own database I had. I manage over 29,000 cards via this inventory.
Note that SCF new inventory should be made avaible in August for testing to all members if all goes well.
All base set are in 5000 box
All Subset (insert,serial,rookie)
all are store in 3200 box because top loader fit better in these.
all cards are in a penny sleeve minimum.
all card with value are in top loader (auto, mem, serial,RC)
all set are separated by a cardboard longer the a toploader that I fold and write the set name as set separator. ( I do the same with base set )
All PC are stored in separate 3200 box (3) and are all in a top loader, no exception.
Card before 1992 are also in binder and double in 5000 box, I never wanted to remove them, got maybe 40 some binder.
I also collect all the box the card came from 1 one each and two if picture a PC item. I do the same with the flyers they annouce the next product that are on top of the pack when you open the box and the same for packs, I keep one sample and it give me a reference to the sets ratio in the future.
I use regular box to store magazine and odd-ball, Jumbo cards, stoicker album etc...Last edited by CoolHandLuke; 07-26-2010 at 08:05 PM.

I keep all my base sets in appropriate sized boxes once they are complete. Traders are kept in a seperate "shoe box" type box and sorted roughly by type (rookie, gu, autoed, numbered, insert) and original set. My higher end PC stuff is displayed loud n proud around my home office. Extra base and incomplete sets are kept in order in seperate 3500 ct boxes.

There are a few ways I organize my goods. Bases and lower valued inserts from all years are organized by team, alphabetized by player, put into 9 pocket sleeves, and then put into binders. GU, AU, more valuable RCs, #D cards and higher valued inserts go into a 3200 CT box after being placed in soft sleeves and top loaders. They are organized simply by team. All of the cards I have in my boxes are in a Microsoft spreadsheet, backed up 3X, so if someone steals my cards, then resale would be impossible as I have photo and spreadsheet evidence of all of my cards.
