    Box help

Hey guys, I am trying to decide what box to break. I normally only manage to bust about 5 boxes a year so its normally a bigger deal for me. I dont really want to spend more than $70 so I have pretty much narrowed it down between two boxes that are pretty similar.

    2007/08 Fleer hot prospects

    or

    2008/09 Fleer hot prospects

Which would you choose? or Can you suggest something else in that price range?

    Thanks!

I have the same problem when I decide to break...which boxes to choose!!

It depends what rookie class you like more I guess, if it were me I'd go for 08-09 simply for the hope of hitting Rose or Mayo.

well, there's probably some nice durant stuff left out there. also depends on what you want from your breaks; inserts, autos, complete set....
the base set is the same for both, even though the later year has 30 more cards. at the same time, the later year also looks to have a few more insert options IMO. (i'm a few cards short of a 3rd complete set of 07-08 incase you need something, or break it and have extras...LOL)

MarkGL- Yea Im thinking the 08/09 rookie class is a bit more exciting with Rose, Mayo, Westbrook. Then again the 07/08 has Noah, Horford, Davis, and that Durant guy.

    BiGGs- Thanks for your input!

The 08/09 class was deeper, but 07/08 seems to get better every year. And Durant > Rose in terms of the top rookie pull. I've opened probably 5 boxes of both, obviously a small sample size but... off the top of my head my bigger pulls came from 07/08. I pulled a LeBron auto /50, an Olajuwon auto /25, and a Paul Pierce jsy/auto /50 from 07/08 and my only really nice pull from 08/09 was a Russell Westbrook Draft Day Postmarks auto. From what I can tell, the veteran hits are better in 07/08, but you're more likely to hit a decent RC in 08/09. Also, I was way more likely to hit 2+ autos in 07/08 than in 08/09.

Velvet- I appretiate your input! I have opened one box of both but I have yet to find a veterans auto, which I am actually hoping to get. So the 07/08 sounds like the way to go.
