stitching vs screenprint, authentic jerseys numbers , patches and name are stitched on while replica jerseys name and numbers are screenprinted on the jersey. however authentic jerseys retail from 150-300 bucks depending on the sport while replicas will go from 50-80 but depending on the sport there are also some "replithentic" jerseys which are sewn on replica jerseys that arent as detailed as the authentics. those usually go for 110 for football( called EQT Jerseys) 80 for basketball (called swingman jerseys) and 85 for baseball and 120 for hockey. I work at a sports store and im around that stuff all the time and honestly i think the "replithentic" jerseys are the best bang for your buck
