    Suggestion regarding magnetic holders.

Ok, here is the deal, I would like a little feedback from the expert community.

I am looking for some better protection for my singles. Currently, they are in penny sleeves and toploaders. I bought a couple of the magnetic holders and like them aside from two nitpicks. One, there is a gap along the side of the holder, so if liquid was spilled it get seep inside to the card. As anybody used a penny sleeve in conjuction with a magnetic or screw down? Second, is putting a label on the screwdown. Anybody try that?

What it boils down to is getting the "look and feel" of a graded card without spending the money/time to send it in. I am less concerned with what Beckett and PSA tell me, and more with letting somebody handle my cards without fear of spillage and whatnot.

I want to hear how other people are storing/protecting their cards.

Just put the scredown/magnetic in a team bag, then it is protected, and put the lable anywhere you want.

Personally I don't like Magnetics - they are better then one screws - but I think Top Loaders are by far the best. Magnetics, although solid, still allow for too much card movement for my taste and you have to get them lined up perfectly even if you have the correct PT size. Plus toploaders are much easier to store. Not to mention the cost savings.

Everything I have, all of which is basically high end, is just in sleeve, top loader, and team bag.

Like the others mentioned, i use top loaders and team bag for everything except for patch cards. However i did notice that a specific kind of team bag, made by a company called BCW, are able to hold the magnet and can still be sealed.
