In-person autos pregame
Hey guys,
I was wondering how long before a game does a visiting team (baseball) arrive at the stadium? This is for minor league baseball. Also does anyone have experience getting autographs in Pawtucket outside the stadium. I appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hey, you're going to the PawSox too? What is the day of your game?
What I, along with many others, like to do is to cut a small hole out of a empty gallon of milk/water. Then tie a piece of string that is about 1'-3' in length to the handle of the container. When you get to the field, go the furthest up possible and lower the gallon. This is called "Fishing for 'graphs". So pretty much when a player walks by, they may look into the gallon and sign something. By doing this, I was able to get Clay Bucholz when he only signed for the 5 people in my area.
Hope this helps!

Oh and btw I want to the on field auto signing one year and some stuff I picked was that you have to be near the front of the line going into the stadium before the signing (I would recomend 1 hr before signing) and once you get in there skip the first table because the line will probably be very long and go to the tables that have the stars. the tables are spread all around the warning track so if you skip the first table you can get through many of the others. The time I went all the top prospects (Buchholz, Ellsbury, Hansen etc) were farther away from home plate, dont know if thats always true but you can take a look. And as for the visiting team, I wouldnt count on anything pre game especially montero, he is pretty tough even for kids. Good luck

Ok, so if I'm going for these guys:
Anderson
Bowden
Doubront
Reddick
and Kalish
would they all be at the same table?
And, I will be leaving at about 3, so I will definetily be one of the first people there. I also have a few family members coming, so ill try to get an auto for them too,

Most likely they will almost all be split up, no more than two per table so you'll need to be quick to get all of them. It is doable though if your smart

went and saw them play rochester and for a 7.05 game get there at 2 and then wait for the buses and the pawsox come in the same doors. you will see black baracades set up with "pawsox" spray painted in white on them wait with those guys getting graphs there and they know who the players are and identify them. you will get a lot of autos doing this. also wait outside the game afterwards and get autos post game. the entrance is on the first base side.
Kalsih is a pretty good signer and Lars is 1 per and personalizes omlb
