Nice pull - although he's not in the league anymore, that card should still sell for a decent amount (Japanese fans are willing to pay big $$$ for Japanese players).

yes I got a couple packs last week at a retail store and the cards are great to use for inperson auto collectors that need base cards of lesser know players and coaches.

Deadshot-Thanks for the comment, me and my friends were talking about that same thing and decided to look the card up on ebay to see what it has been going for. It looked like there were cards signed in english and in japanese and of course the japanese sig was going for more. I looked at mine again and compared it to what i was seeing on ebay, looks like i got the japanese sig even :)

That's a good thing - my advice is to sell it now while it still holds some value. I don't see him in the NBA again anytime soon.

I finally located some packs of this product today; I purchased 6 retail packs. I didn't get anything great, but then again - I wasn't expecting anything great either. It looks like a cheap/fun set to collect, and I think that is what I am going to do (collect the set).
My only beef with Topps here is that they failed to include Ron Artest in the set. I can understand that he does not represent the best in basketball, but how could he not be included in a set that contains 440 players, coaches, and mascots? If "Super Griz" merits a card in the set, Ron should as well.

i like collecting sets but the topps total didnt do it for me. cards look cheap (cuz they are!) even though ron artest is a ™™™™™™ bag he should still have a card.
