    im bidding on a card that books 400, i want to keep it a secret because i want to win it =)

    Well it would really depend on the card, lol.

    Some $400 cards you should pay $400 for, others you shouldn't pay more than $200 for...all depends.

    i always perfered to pay 1/3 of the value, i thought that seemed fair, but 1/2 i suppose is fair as well
