Ebay Question. Please help so this can be provented.
Question for everyone here. Can anything be done about a Ebay seller I won an item from the contacted me and said he no longer want to sell the item. Should I pay for it then open a case with eBay? or just let it be? The item was sold for way less then comparable items and I honestly think he is going to re listed. The seller attempted to shill me but failed one person drove the bid up that had a large amounts of his bids with the seller. I am not concerned about receiving the item I just want bums like this off eBay.

id pay for it and then open a case. if you let it be then he wont learn his lesson and will continue to do that until he gets his price.

Really nothing you can do, if he doesn't ship it. I would report it to e-bay and also leave negative feedback.

also forgot to ad. when he relists it report the auction and point out that you already purchased the item. ebay might not do anything but it could be worth a try.

Unfortunately, Ebay won't do anything about this. If you haven't paid, I would just let it be. There's not much you can do.

thats what i hate about ebay. they wont do a thing like you said and all you can do is a leave a negative. and in the scheme of things 1-2 negatives among hundereds or thousands of positives mean nothing. and he can continue to do this without fear of ebay doing anything to him. as long as he pays his final value fee on it ebay doesnt care.

I don't know if I would pay for it. If he's flakey about sending the card he may be flaky about refunding it. I'd let ebay know and also file a negative. "sellers" like this hurt ebay and aren't very smart. if he wanted a specific price he should have listed a fixed price listing. Depending on the sale price he's doubled his listing and selling fees whenever he does sell the card. Since ebay is a pretty good gauge at market prices unless he's going to sit on the card some more he probably won't get much more for it.
sucks that he wasted you time watching the auction.

Yea the most likely wont do a thing about it. Sucks but then again they let fakes and knock offs ride all day long! I would just move on. They might learn there lesson, but it wont stop the problem unless eBay stepped in big time on stuff like this, which they wont. It will be a big headache for you and still wont fix the problem.
