To make it better, I think I'd make the background of the Packers logo black as well, give it some continuity. And maybe mess around with another font.. But the one you have isn't bad. And I don't really like when people put authentic autograph on a custom, but that's just me. But overall, it looks nice.

First I used this tutorial:

But instead of changing the layer mode to divide I messed around with all of the different modes. I'm pretty sure I used "soft light". Then I moved the layer mask a tiny bit to give it the shadowy look.

Just made this, I think I might make a set of them and mail them out.

Anyone think this is a set worth making? Or should I come up with a different design?

I really like that design. The only thing is the autograph might come out better if you did a washout effect or something on the Giants logo they sign on (I don't use Gimp, so I'm not sure if you can do that but I do it on Microsoft Word). I REALLY like the look of that card though. Keep up the good work!

I'd maybe fade the Giants logo a little bit. In GIMP just use the Dodge/Burn tool. And maybe go with a different font. That looks like a Microsoft Word font.
Maybe look on dafont.com for some ones that might look cool, computers don't come with many good fonts for customs and editing.
Otherwise, they look pretty good!
