Odd decision by the Royals management then. It's going to be alot harder to move anyone now. Plus why would they wait until after the deadline to showcase a player just to hope he clears waivers to make a trade for someone not on the 40 man. He's a solid talent, but will need traded to get a full-time gig. Butler is 2 years younger, and having a great season.
Best of luck to Kila. I have a feeling they are wanting to get him a few AB's to showcase him for a waiver trade. That's the rumor going around locally, anyhow.
