Vancouver Citizens
Hey all
I was wondering if there were any Vancouver guys that wanted to get together for a trade day...maybe in December? I dunno. We could meet like at the mall or Tim Hortins, and just do some trading. I thought it could be in December or November, when the Leafs vs Canucks game is on, and if they have a tv wherever we meet up, we could watch a game there.
Just a thought. I have no idea if I'll be able to make any trade days, but I will certainly try :)

Great! :)
And if anyone is wonderin why not a tradenight? It's because people may need to get up early if they for some reason have work the next day, and because people like HSKR (who lives quite far from Vancouver/Richmond) probably don't like driving all of the back home in the dark.

How bout we make the tradeday on December 18? Like I said, I thought Id make it before Christmas, because there are good deals, the mall is always open later (because of the holiday season), there will be some members coming down to Vancouver for the Christmas break, everyone is on holidays (they will be off of work/school), the Leafs/Canucks game will be on, it is the weekend.
We could always set it for another day if that day doesnt work for you. I have no idea if that day will work for me, but if it does, I will definitely try to make it.

I'm from Burnaby, so I'd be interested, but for me to show it would have to be somewhere accessible by transit, like near Rogers Arena or Commercial Drive... Ooh but being the guy I am and obeying what my parents say (I'm 14 not 40) my parents might not even let me go. But I'll think about it.

I dunno. This may be far for some other members, but we could always make it at Metrotown? Collectors Den has some really good deals on packs. Kinda to bad that they dont have any good deals on singles. Rent is expensive there anyways. I just cant really think of any malls in Vancouver that has cardshops. But hmm... Metrotown may be a little far for people coming from other cities...

Well I think Downtown near Rogers Arena may be the best bet. At least then we all have some idea of where we're going. I'm sure they have something down there. Metrotown has collector's den. I know a nice little show on east hastings street with nice deals on packs but they don't have many singles. They're also a bit hard to find if you're coming from Port Moody or Richmond.

Well, now that I think about it, Metropolis is not the best option anymore. Collectors Den there is very small, and the mall is very busy. I have been to that mall maybe 5-6 times, and it is very easy to get lost.
I dunno, but I noticed that one store was on Hastings. I dont think we would wanna meet at hastings. Its pretty depressing, down there, with quite a few homeless people.
We should meet in a mall instead of a shop on the street. Imagine what the store owner would be like, if a big group of us walked in and stayed for the next 1-2 hours in his shop? At least if we are in a mall, then we can sit at Starbucks, or the Food Fair.
