Eagles Training Camp

Finally. After living in the Bethlehem area my entire life, I FINALLY took the time to go to the Eagles Training Camp @ Lehigh University.

If you are not aware, there are almost ZERO autograph signings permitted here. Players would have to go out of their way to sign for folks. Even the "security" chases you away from the fence line yelling things like, "NO AUTOGRAPHS!" and "THIS IS MYYYY FENCE, STEP OFFA MYYY FENCE AND MOVE!"

Each day the team does a sponsored signing by raffle. Everyone there gets a raffle ticket. If your number falls within the series of numbers called, you get to meet a few players. Each day is dedicated to a different position. I went this past Sunday and the Linebacker corps was signing. I went with friends and my nephew.

My friends tickets were called, but not ours. My one friend was nice enough to give her ticket to my nephew. He's gone every year for the past 8 years and has NEVER had this chance.

When you line up, there are 3 different lines. The # on your ticket determines which line you are in. My nephew and friend had the "good line" that would have them meet the better players, however, and apparently they do this all of the time...to throw people off, they switch the players name cards around.

Anyway, they still met a decent few players. My nephew got to meet and had his 2010 Eagles Training Camp Program signed by AKEEM JORDAN, MOISE FOKOU, TRACEY WHITE, AND BILL SHUEY (LB COACH). He was very excited.
