Report: Finnish Flash Not Done Quite Yet
Being the world's biggest Selanne fan, I feel this is my story to post. From TSN:
It looks like Teemu Selanne will be back for his 18th season in the NHL. The veteran forward told Finnish sports magazine Sports Journal on Friday that he intends to return for 'at least another year' and made a pitch to the Ducks and former teammate Paul Kariya for a reunion in Anaheim.
W00T! The man can obviously still play, and if he can stick it out for two more years, he's got an outside shot at catching Kurri for most points by a Finnish-born player (he's 138 behind) and maybe reach the top 10 all-time in goals (Robitaille's presently 10th, 62 ahead.)
Great day for me. :)

Wow, Paul Kariya really? Don't know how the ducks fans might take that.

Awesome news I loved Teemu ever since his 76 goal rookie season and the great celebration! As for Kariya, if he stays healthy he most certainly can play and it would be great to see these too reunited again!

I hope this is true, I can use the two points in the free agency contest lol

Awesome! I've always loved Teemu, and to see him and Paul reunited on the Ducks to closeout both of their careers only seems fitting to me.

Both guys are at the end of their careers but can still provide leadership to the young Ducks. Even if the only contribute 50 points or so a piece it would be worth it. And Kariya could still skate circles around nearly anyone in the league (not to mention the lethal wrister).
