    Damaged Card Advise

Hi, I recentley bought a Mikael Backlund Ultimate Patch Card. I got it in the mail yesterday and the card was creased all over like ive never seen. It was obiously during the shipping when this happened. I e-mailed the seller, saying i know its not his fault and ill still leave good feedback. He was happy to hear this and refunded my money as a token of his appreciation.
My question is now: What do i do with the card? It's majorly creased, and im wondering if Upperdeck will take it for a replacement. Thanks

Just say what happened. Usually they're pretty good about it. Well now a days they are with everyone entering the market. So definitly call them up, they want to keep they're customers.

Ok I'll give them a call, do you know if upperdeck is like ITG? Will they make me another of the same card, or will they just give me replacements?

It depends on whether or not they have sufficient replacement stock. With a low numbered card like that /25, there's a possibility they may not be able to replace the exact card. Give them a call, find out what your options are, and if it turns out they can only replace it with something of equal value you'll have to evaluate whether to take the offer or live with the really nice card that has some damage to it. Obviously since it's Backlund it's a PC item for you - it won't be traded any time soon - is the damage bad enough that you'll be able to look at the card and be disgusted every time you see it, or is it livable?

It's a disgusting damage, I cry (not really) when I look at it. Is upperdeck open on Saturday?

Nope, Monday to Friday only. That's really unfortunate about the damage - I hope you can get the card replaced. :)

hey let us know what happens with this. I'm interest to see if UD will help, even though you got this card through the secondary market and not straight from UD.

I recently dealt with UD's customer service department and I was really pleased. It's a different scenario, but hopefully they take care of you.
