I was actually thinking of you as I posted the thread, but I'm mainly looking for HOF GU guys on my list. You have some nice HOF, just not guys I need right now.
Have anything not on your site?

    Ah
I just saw your list. Most of that will be more than I could buy and put into those 2 cards :)

Well, there are a couple guys on the list who have low to mid end cards. Obviously not asking for a Ruth here :)

    Yah
The GUs I have and those I have traded off,are what I can get around here.
    This is old south :)
No one around here will let go of most of what is on your list. I mean, with exceptions like Doerr and such.
Cobb grew up down the road, ted Williams used to play here. Babe Ruth played here,Gherig...this is all stuff we grew up learning,so key vintage jsut never sees the light of day :)

But hey, I did meet Tommy Lasorda last night hah....i should have torn a piece of his shirt off, maybe we could have traded ;p

Always heard Lasorda was a bit of a (banned SCF word here), but what'd you think? If you tore his shirt, I think you would have been beaten. Better story anyway :)

    I dunno
he was all smiles and REALLY short.
I mean, a lot of people fell small next to me and I have a good view of what is the norm on height and this guy was SHORT :)
    Oh
I did get 5 bobble heads....and I do own several guns and I think a true test of marksmanship would be to shoot the bobbling part from a good 3 feet away.... :P

But no,didn't see anything but a nice guy who was very tollerant of 5,000 people trying to say HI while 10,000 were screaming at the game.

A side note, I found a new prospect at lastnights game.
This kid, 4th-5th inning,WELL into his pitching, started beaning 101-102 pitches. He scared Kyle Russell it looked like to me ;)

Yeah, he seems pretty short. Good of him to be a good sport through all the attention.
I was trying to figure out who you were talking about...Grube?
