ebay first. seriously what the heck do i do here?
im truly baffled by what just happened to me on ebay. i recently sold my carlton fisk sweet spot glove auto on ebay. i got payed asap and shipped it out and we both left positive feedback early last week. well today i got a message from the seller saying the following
"thank you again for the carlton fisk auto i love it but unfortunatly my wife does not. She told me last night that she is drawing the line with my baseball card habit and that its either her or the cards. Unfortunatly i have mortgage that i cannot pay without her so i cant throw her out(haha jk... kinda). so since i need to get rid of them asap and you were the last owner i would like to send it back to you free of charge. it is up to you wether you want to refund my money or not but i need to get rid of them so i will be shipping it out on monday"
obviously im going to refund his money im not going to take the card back and keep his money as well but seriously has anyone encountered anything like this? i mean ive had some weird stories on ebay, ive had people not be able to pay because they claimed their house had burned down or they had a car accident. ive heard every excuse in the book for shipping late or paying late. but i have never experienced or even heard about stories like this.
what do you guys think of this? sorry for the long read

Thats a messed up deal for that guy, but hey sometimes things happen. Im sure you can resell the card and get what you got from it before.

Wait till the card gets to you...if it is recieved...just as the way shipped...refund his money then.

Because any normal person would just sell the card if they needed money like he claimed.
