    See gamboooler's Items on eBay

They probably do all look the same if I had to guess. They usually find one piece of one jersey and make the patches for a set from it. But I mean, not every patch can be a logo patch. It's not like it's a 1/1 or even /5. To expect a really nice patch on a card /25 these days, especially from a base parallel set, is a bit demanding. I know it's a high-end product, but just look at the Rookie Patch Autos, Game Day Gear, Colossal Jumbo Patches, etc. It's not like it's a common trend with NT for there to be lame and similar patches. I just found the OP complaint a little much.

BTW, it's the same on the Durant base patch. They're all the red/yellow/black patch from the edges of the jersey. It's not a big deal because it's not the big ticket item as far as Durant NT patches go. Now if there's a Colossal Jumbo Patch that's /5 and all 5 are lame "sleeves" from jerseys and they all look the same, that's a completely different issue.

Are you really bashing a product because one of the base parallel patches is lame? That card is an afterthought in terms of the entire production.

Since when in the entire history of patch cards has a company used the exact same patch (material, source, layout) for an entire print run?!

This IS NOT a base parallel GU jersey swatch...
Not sure why you keep repeating that.
The "base GU" is #'d to 99 not 25.

Until I see all 25 cards from the print run, I highly doubt that all the patches are completely the same. Even though it's true that the swatches all come from the same jersey, there's gotta be some kind of variety lol

He didn't say it was a base parallel jersey swatch, he said it's a base parallel patch, which you highlighted yourself

Gilbert....I had 5/25 (maybe 15/25) and traded it at the National last weekend....it had the same patch as the others.....

No need to be a devils advocate VELVET and GILBERT....to have 7 out of 25 of the Carmelo cards to have identical patches, and not even their normal jersey is a joke. I won't but Panini Basketball products....would rather collect 2009-2010 stuff forever!!!! or switch to Football

Better than having an all white patch/1 color patch i'd say. Nothing wrong with the Carmelos.

I'm not being a Devil's Advocate, i'm just stating my opinion, which apparently offends people.

You do realize 2009-10 Products are mostly Panini? LMAO

    @Boondox Saint :
    NICE, thanks for sharing...
Finally a variant, you are the winner (for now) it seems.

Until I see all 25 cards from the print run, I highly doubt that all the patches are completely the same. Even though it's true that the swatches all come from the same jersey, there's gotta be some kind of variety lol

Agreed, there has to be some type of variety/variance.

And by base parallel patch I thought VelvetHoop was trying to imply that it was the YUGO of the fleet.

There are only 3 versions minus Auto's :
    Materials (GU) /99
    Materials Prime (Patch) /25
    Materials NBA (Logoman) 1/1

To say the Prime /25 is a base parallel and that a inferior/duplicate swatch of generic material is acceptable just doesn't fly for me.

Certified pumped out plenty of clean/multi-color patches numbered to 25 just months ago...
Not sure the problem here with NT.

I guess they are running out of jersey to make NT.
