    Hello Hello

    Hey everyone,

    Just thought I'd start one of these since I'm fairly new. To give you an idea of my collecting history, I did it pretty heavily in middle/high school, stopped by the time I got to college and picked it up a few months after I graduated again. Pretty typical sounding story from what I hear, but it is what it is, haha. I also attribute my quitting to the fact that I couldn't find a 1985 Mark McGwire USA rookie card and just got frustrated by it. Funny to think about it now, considering I just bought one on eBay for $5 delivered!

    I'm a big New York Giants, Yankees and Rutgers football fan (season ticket holder since I'm an alum). I collect pretty much anything with any of those logos on it and sell/trade everything else. Things have changed a lot since I last collected, and some is good (like the community aspect online) and some bad (sticker autos, prices, etc). Because of that, I tend to be pretty reasonable in my dealings, to the point where it's sometimes unreasonable for me, haha.

    Pet peeves include shipping cards in unprotected envelopes/without top loaders, dirty penny sleeves, and the Philadelphia Eagles. :-)

    That's interesting. Quit over a McGwire rookie. I think saying you stopped when you went to college sounds a little better. ;)
