This way, no matter how much those scammers try to open a pack, they will not be successful in resealing. Just take away the end sealing process.

But nonetheless, with people (and am I not the only one who stereotypes old farts as doing this) weighing, feeling, and swiping packs, the only fool-proof method is to stay the hell away from retail like I do and buy hobby only.

The only things i find wrong with what you say is that there are other ways besides opening a pack to see whats in them. there are ways to tell whats in there before you buy them. You might not know who the player is or what but you can tell if there is a jersey or auto. Also even in hobby only stuff you have to deal with the owners searching there stuff and letting certen customers search. I have been in a few shops that the owner searched their stuff and some let their select few customers search.

when i meant hobby i meant SEALED hobby boxes from reputable sources like DaCardworld, GCXOnline, and Charm City. Theres no way in hell i would ever trust someone selling loose pack on ebay or even in a card shop. Dont you think these ppl go through the packs first? I have seen dealers show me how to find JSY right in his own store. I took the wrapper off of a sealed box of Fleer Greats of the Game football, and within 90 secs, he claimed he found the JSY just by feeling. He opened the pack, and boom! there was a GOTG Dan Marino JSY card. Sealed hobby is the ONLY way i will go.
